🚀 Anthropic is preparing for an IPO, but investors are already reassessing the company’s valuation

Anthropic $ANTHROPIC , developer of the Claude AI model, plans to go public by Thanksgiving in the US, aiming to raise $80–100 billion. The company’s initial valuation was $1.25–1.75 trillion.

However, following a sharp decline in tech stocks, investors are already reconsidering the desired IPO price. According to the Los Angeles Times, citing Bloomberg, a range of $1.2–1.3 trillion was discussed among potential buyers, rather than the upper limit of $1.75 trillion. The final price has not yet been determined.

At the same time, Anthropic’s $ANTHROPIC business is growing rapidly: its annualized revenue run rate is estimated at around $81 billion. But AI development requires enormous investment—the company plans to spend about $900 billion on computing capacity and infrastructure in the coming years.

The key signal for the market: investors aren’t giving up on AI, but they are becoming more demanding about valuations. What matters now is not only who develops artificial intelligence faster, but also who can turn these investments into stable profits.
