【If ENA drops to $0.10, will anyone buy the dip?】

Don’t reach for your wallet just yet. ENA is currently at $0.1541, down 6.3% in 24 hours, 18.1% over 7 days, and 28.8% over 30 days. After falling more than 90%, the market is bringing back an old narrative: synthetic dollar USDe, on-chain yield, protocol revenue, and value capture for ENA.

But these four things aren’t the same. People using USDe doesn’t mean demand will stick around; a protocol earning revenue doesn’t mean that revenue will flow to ENA; and rising trading volume doesn’t mean selling pressure is over. Volume exceeding 5% of market cap could mean heavy short-term turnover—or simply provide liquidity to holders stuck in losing positions.

So who’s actually affected? ENA holders, capital earning yield on synthetic assets, DeFi protocols integrating USDe, and anyone using stablecoins as the cash leg of a trade. For the thesis to work, we need to see demand for USDe, protocol revenue, and real use cases for ENA. Incentive-driven hype fades fastest. I saw this playbook back in 2017; only the packaging has changed.

My view: sentiment could fuel the trade for a few more weeks, but for the narrative to last for months, it needs to be backed by retention and value capture. I’m itching to buy, but this time I won’t treat a story as a safety net.

What worries you more right now: missing out, or watching it keep recycling the same old story?
