【Who Benefits When Data Centers Face Opposition】

The same news gives SpaceX two different readings.

According to Cailian Press, on November 6 and 7, more than 100 organizations in 15 European countries took to the streets, calling for a pause on new large-scale data centers. Data centers are also an election issue in the U.S. this week.

Reading A: The expansion of computing power is being held back, and the AI story is losing its valuation premium. SPCXB fell to a low of 120.55 on November 5—that’s how it got there.

Reading B: According to CNBC, Cathie Wood said Friday that the more worried the market gets, the longer the bull market will last. She also named SpaceX as a beneficiary if controversy over terrestrial data centers continues.

I’m going with A, but only in the short term. SPCXB on Binance bStocks was at 135.15 at 14:57. It spent the whole day grinding between 134.70 and 135.24. With the price hovering around its 135 issue price, nobody is willing to commit first—and there’s a wall of investors looking to break even above.

Here’s what would prove me wrong: if it climbs above 142.87 after the U.S. market opens Monday at 22:30 (the November 3 high), that means the market has bought Cathie Wood’s argument. Conversely, if it falls back below 120.55, Reading A is confirmed.

Are you on team A or B?
