Crypto lesson 📚 Take-profit and stop-loss
A stop-market order is a stop-loss order that executes at market price once triggered. It’s more likely to be filled, but sharp market movements may lead to significant slippage.
A stop-limit order places a limit order once triggered. The execution price won’t be worse than the limit you set, but if the price moves beyond your limit, the order may not be filled at all.
Don’t laugh—I only remembered this after learning the hard way myself.
