With 2026 almost over, let’s take a look at the books: all five major coins are down year to date. $BTC is down about 15%, currently around $75,845; $ETH is down about 25%, at around $2,236; $SOL is down about 29%, at around $89; XRP is down about 38%, at around $1.17; and DOGE is down about 39%, at around $0.072. Each has fallen harder than the last—the smaller the market cap, the steeper the drop. That’s the textbook bear-market ranking. Total market cap is around $2.53 trillion, down 40% from last October’s peak of $4.28 trillion; BTC is still about 40% below its all-time high of $126,000. Those who said at the start of the year, “$100,000 is just the beginning this year,” are now calculating how much prices need to rise just to break even: BTC needs to gain about 17% to return to its year-start level, while DOGE needs to climb about 64%. Don’t rush to buy the dip. Ask yourself first: are you buying a rebound, or investing in a belief? #Crypto #Bitcoin
