It surged to 0.0001496 in the early hours, then got pushed back. Now $HMSTR has climbed another 7%, with open interest even higher than it was then. Is this a second breakout, or another bull trap?

My stance is clear: this is a second breakout, and I’m bullish.

The 1 o’clock hourly candle rose from 0.0001313 to a high of 0.0001435 and closed at 0.0001408, with 2.61 million U in trading volume. The previous hour saw only 160,000 U—a 16-fold increase in volume. Open interest value rose from 2.04 million U at 13:00 to 2.57 million U at 14:00, while the number of contracts increased from 15.6 billion to 18.2 billion. That’s already higher than the 2.33 million U in open interest when it surged in the early hours. In the five minutes before 1 o’clock, the buy/sell ratio hit 2.91. This isn’t fake volume.

It’s true that 67% of accounts are still piled into long positions. I see how crowded that is. But fresh money is still flowing in—it’s not just retail traders fighting among themselves.

Resistance is at 0.0001496. If it breaks through, the bears will feel the pain. I’m watching 0.0001307 as support—the low where this move started. If it breaks below that, I’m out.
