There’s another euro stablecoin on the XRP network: EURGH, launched by GateHub and Dinaro. It claims to be MiCA-compliant, with euros held 1:1 in segregated accounts at European banks, free minting and redemption via SEPA, and support for the XRP Ledger and Xahau.

There’s nothing wrong with the product itself. Europe really is short on compliant euro stablecoins.

But I can already picture the headlines in XRP groups: "Another institution chooses XRPL—XRP is about to take off."

Wake up. Whichever chain a stablecoin is issued on, users hold and transfer euros, not XRP. A little network fee revenue and account reserves aren’t enough to support your price fantasies. USDT has been issued on Tron for years, and nobody says that makes TRX the dollar.

XRP is at 1.16 now, and people have been pushing this narrative for seven or eight years. Every partnership gets treated as bullish news, but in the end, it turns out all the good news belongs to someone else.
