Just sharing a thought. When I first started trading futures, I was really into watching the long/short ratio. Whenever I saw that a high percentage of traders were going long, I’d follow suit—and more than once, a single wick took me out.
Over time, I came to understand that the long/short ratio tells you which side most people are on, but the market often likes to move in the direction fewer people are betting on.
Right now, the $SOL platform-wide account long/short ratio is 3.62, with more accounts going long. I treat it as just a reference.
