After USDT (RGB) officially launches on the Bitcoin mainnet, expected on November 28, it should bring indirect but tangible benefits to the Fractal ecosystem.

First, Bitcoin-native assets will finally have a usable stablecoin pricing and settlement option. The trading experience for assets such as Ordinals, Runes, and BRC-20 should improve, and some liquidity and trading demand could easily spill over to Fractal through the UniSat wallet. UniSat deeply supports both ecosystems, allowing users to manage Bitcoin and Fractal assets in one wallet, while low-fee transactions will make Fractal more attractive.

Second, Fractal is positioned as a low-cost experimentation layer for Bitcoin. Once RGB + USDT is up and running on the mainnet, developers will have more incentive to first test features such as payments, swaps, lending, and AI Agent payments on Fractal, before considering bridging them to or migrating them to the mainnet. This “experiment first, deploy to mainnet later” approach will increase Fractal’s practical value.

Overall, if USDT’s return to Bitcoin attracts more institutional liquidity, OTC activity, and real-world payment use cases, funding and attention across the Bitcoin ecosystem will increase. Fractal, as an extension layer with deep UniSat involvement, will typically benefit.

It is worth noting that there is currently no official plan to deploy RGB USDT directly to Fractal, and the protocol mechanisms are different. In the short term, this will not immediately change Fractal’s own Index Mining or DApp dynamics. The benefits are more of a “rising tide lifts all boats” spillover effect.

If UniSat later advances interoperability between RGB and Runes/BRC-20, the synergies between the two sides will become more apparent.
