A few signals to watch before meme coins pick up

For sentiment to recover, there needs to be price movement. Without it, it’s just talk.

With meme coins, first check whether the leader has volume, then see if smaller coins dare to follow.

SHIB 0.00000449 (-1.32%), WIF 0.1616 (-1.34%), BONK 0.0000028 (-1.41%), DOGE 0.0714 (-1.50%)

For comparison: BTC 75792 (24h -0.19%).

Even leader SHIB is only at -1.32%, while the weakest, PEPE, is at -3.40%. Meme coins are bleeding; talking about a sentiment recovery is self-deception.

BTC is still at 75792 (-0.19%). Until BTC gets above 76,398, I’ll treat any move to the upside in meme coins as noise.

If the gap between the leader and the weakest coin narrows to under 2 percentage points, independent buying has disappeared. I’ll close my positions.

Are you still holding meme coins when they’re not outperforming BTC?

Takeaway: The dot plot shows each official’s individual projection; it is not the decision of the next meeting.
Insight: ETH is weaker than BTC: capital is contracting, so pause on altcoins’ moves to the upside.
