At dawn on Saturday, two ships were hit in the Strait of Hormuz.

Two oil tankers struck mines and caught fire. The Revolutionary Guard’s version is that they turned off their navigation systems and barged into a restricted zone, where mines taught them a lesson. Iranian state television confirmed the incident. November is barely a week old, and explosions in this waterway are already becoming a daily show.

Iran’s rhetoric has also clearly toughened. The Supreme National Security Council warned that “the war will receive a devastating response.” Larijani went further: if U.S. forces strike from bases in Europe, those bases will be legitimate targets, and the response will have no geographic limits. That’s on a completely different scale from the previous line about “limited retaliation.”

What’s interesting is the shift in Washington. Officials are saying Trump now wants to try for a deal first, with military options back on the table only if talks fail. On the same day, Russia upgraded its delegation heading to Abu Dhabi for peace talks, signaling a serious approach. Two battlefronts: one heating up, the other cooling down. The trends are moving in opposite directions.

Tomorrow is the new moon, and moonless nights have traditionally been a prime window for taking action. Add in weekend liquidity as thin as paper. The crypto market, meanwhile, is taking it calmly: $BTC $ETH has barely budged, while $BTC is still languishing below 80,000. The entire war premium has gone into oil; not a cent of it is showing up in crypto. The market has already cast its vote with its money.

Positioning is worth more than opinions. Best to watch from the sidelines this weekend and avoid making moves. NFA DYOR
