Let's talk about smart contracts.
The concept of a “smart contract” was first proposed by cryptographer Nick Szabo in the 1990s.
One thing many people overlook: “code is law” also means that if a contract contains vulnerabilities, attackers can exploit them by following the code—and the damage can't be undone afterward.
Before confirming a transaction, check that you understand the contract address and operation details shown in your wallet. If you don't understand them, don't sign.
Deploying smart contracts on Ethereum requires $ETH to pay Gas.
