$BTC
The big players on Hyperliquid are holding far more shorts than longs.

I just checked the latest whale positions snapshot. Among positions worth over $1 million, longs total $2.96 billion and shorts $3.73 billion—a long/short ratio of 44 to 56.
Shorts are sitting on $130 million in unrealized profits, while longs are down $63.5 million. It’s clear at a glance which side the money is on.

The biggest short belongs to a single address: $178 million worth of BTC, at 5x leverage, with an average entry of $76,390 and $1.77 million in unrealized profit.
The same address is also short $174 million worth of ETH, entered at $2,322, with $7.54 million in unrealized profit.
It hasn’t spared ZEC either: a $47.13 million short entered at $1,478, with $8.94 million in unrealized profit.

ZEC has already broken below $1,246 today, hitting an intraday low of $1,238—a drop of more than 7% on the day.
That address has held its ZEC short all the way down from $1,478.

BTC is at $75,623 where I am, with $75,000 still holding just below.
As long as the daily candle closes above $75,000, my view remains the same: support at $75,000 and resistance at $79,280.
But honestly, big players in the futures market are collectively betting on a drop, while whales in the spot market are buying. When the two sides are at odds, I’m in no hurry to pick a side.
Weekend volume is thin to begin with, so don’t bet on direction at a level like this.

Two things to watch: whether $75,000 holds at tonight’s daily close, and whether that $178 million short gets trimmed. The latest move was a reduction of $1.05 million in BTC shorts.
Once shorts start getting trimmed, I’ll consider the long side.

Personal analysis, not investment advice.
