I blew up my first 3 accounts before I understood this one thing
Honestly I am not proud of it. I used to open 20x long in the middle of a green candle, no stop loss, full margin, thinking I am smart. Then one red candle and my whole account was gone. I sat staring at the screen at 2am thinking crypto is a scam. It was not a scam, I was the scam for myself.
Look at what is happening right now and you will see the same trap. SUI got Samsung news, 82M Galaxy phones, big Brazil deal, everything bullish on paper. Still price fell from $0.879 to $0.858. Why. Because on Binance 68% accounts were long and on Bybit 77% were long. When everyone is already long, who is left to buy. Market makers see that, they just take price down to hunt stops.
Same story in SOL. Price is stuck near $89.96, longs are crowded, funding is positive, but price is not going up. News does not pump price when positioning is already crowded. News pumps price only when nobody is expecting it.
The rule that saved my account is very simple. I only risk 1 to 2% on one trade, max 5x to 10x isolated, never cross. I never buy in the middle. I wait for a level. For BTC that level is near $77k to $78k support, not in the middle at $80k. For SUI it is $0.85 hold or nothing. For SOL it is $89.13 hold or nothing. If price does not come to my level, I do not trade. No trade is also a trade.
If you stop chasing and start waiting, your account will start surviving. And surviving is how you actually make money in this market.
Be honest with me, have you ever been liquidated because you chased a pump?
Comment YES if you got liquidated once, NO if you never did. I want to see how many of us learned this the hard way.
