A sixteen-point gain, with eleven of those points coming in eight hours.

$SWARMS is now at 0.007213, up 16.961% over 24 hours,
just 2.27% below its 20-day high of 0.007377. It’s at the 92.48th percentile of its 20-day range,
riding close to the upper end.

The first thing I looked at was open interest, not price. The number of contracts rose by just 17.22%, while notional value rose by 36.16%.
Nearly all of that extra gain came from the price itself moving higher.

Honestly, I had to check those two numbers twice before I believed them.

The funding rate is 0.063535%, more than six times the usual 0.01%. Long accounts make up 76.03%, and the long-short account ratio is 3.1719.

Taken together, these numbers point to the same thing: positions are piled up at the top, and support is only so deep.

Most of the money came in during the final four hours. The price was pushed steadily higher, but the number of people genuinely willing to buy at this level didn’t increase.

Hourly volume jumped from 7.24 million coins to 143.5 million, all concentrated in the final four hourly candles—like everyone rushing to grab the last basket of vegetables before closing time.

This market is small to begin with, with 24-hour trading volume of 5.3797 million USDT. Liquidity is thin; you may be able to get in, but that doesn’t mean you can get out.

The 20-day average volatility is 9.14%, and today’s move alone has used up most of that range.

Over the same period, $BTC fell just 0.026%, while $ETH rose 0.115%. The broader market didn’t provide a tailwind; this move was its own doing.

My view is simple: I wouldn’t chase it at this level. I’m paying less attention and will wait for it to move away from the upper end on its own before reconsidering.
