Economist Agustín Berríos estimated on Friday, November 6, 2026, that Venezuela's economy could end this year with growth of close to 10%.

“Venezuela has the potential to grow significantly this year. We could achieve growth of close to 10% or 10% this year,” he added.

He also said that before the seismic doublet on June 24, analysts had agreed that the country's economy could grow by nearly 15%.

Agustín Berríos noted that growth in the last quarter of the year «is going to be gigantic» and stressed that «we are going to have a holiday season like we haven’t had in a long time».

He stated that 2027 «will be better than 2026» and considered the country’s economic growth «irreversible»: «we have to make sure politics doesn’t disrupt it, and that requires an effort to engage in dialogue».

He also noted on Globovisión that the economy must be given time to recover and said that «the people’s absolute priority is for the economy to recover».
