Today’s lesson: address poisoning
Address poisoning is when scammers create fake addresses that match the first and last few characters of an address you use regularly, then slip them into your transaction history.
Add frequently used receiving addresses to your address book or withdrawal whitelist, and select them from there each time. Don’t copy them from your transfer history.
Frequent stablecoin transfers and $ETH wallets are more likely to be targeted by address poisoning.
