🔎Harmony ONE — The chain is gone, the token remains...

Harmony's ONE is rallying, but there's something unusual about this price action: its original blockchain has already stopped producing blocks.

On September 10, Harmony sunset its original mainnet and began migrating ONE to Ethereum as an ERC-20 token at a 1:1 ratio.

KuCoin confirmed the migration on October 14, while Binance.US reopened ERC-20 deposits and withdrawals on October 27.

Deposits through the old Harmony network are no longer supported on those exchanges.

This creates an important distinction: ONE surviving as a tradable token does not mean its original blockchain survived.

As of writing, ONE gained 41.37%. However, I haven't found a verified fundamental announcement explaining that particular surge.

A sharp move in a low-cap token should not automatically be mistaken for renewed adoption.

The real question is what gives ONE sustainable utility after leaving its original infrastructure behind.

Market implication: The migration shifts attention towards Ethereum-based liquidity, exchange support and the project's ability to establish a credible new ecosystem. Without sustained utility and demand, speculative rallies can reverse quickly.

Not financial advice. Token migrations, liquidity and market sentiment can produce unexpected outcomes.
