Sei Network says the number of holders of tokenised US Treasuries on its chain has risen 41% over the past three months, adding to signs of growing activity in its real-world asset (RWA) ecosystem. The update was shared by @SeiNetwork.
According to the same data, $SEI ranks as the 15th largest chain for RWAs, with about $275.51 million in tokenised value. That would place it ahead of several established networks, including @plumenetwork, @Algorand and @Optimism. These rankings and figures are as published by Sei and have not been independently confirmed here.
Holder Growth Builds on Recent Momentum
The latest figure follows other reports of rising participation. Sei Network published data showing that the number of holders of tokenized assets on its chain has grown by around 24% over the past month. AMBCrypto, which reported the figure in October, also noted that transfer volume surged 155% to $18 million over the same 30-day period.
Data from analytics provider RWA.xyz points to a similar scale. The Sei network carried 2,511 addresses holding tokenized real-world assets as of 22 October, with those balances valued at $291,045,594 on the RWA.xyz network dashboard, according to COINOTAG. Rankings and totals on such dashboards shift as assets and holders are added, which may explain differences from the figures cited by Sei.
Treasury Products Drive Sei's RWA Push
Tokenised Treasuries have been a focus for the network since Ondo announced the first-ever US government bond product tokenized on the Sei network. Ondo Finance deployed USDY, its flagship tokenized U.S. Treasury token, on Sei, and the Sei blog describes it as the largest tokenized Treasury product by TVL.
Sei has also been courting institutional issuers. In a June interview, the Sei Development Foundation said tokenized fund products have begun appearing via platforms such as Kyo and Securitize, with global asset managers tokenizing funds on Sei.
The broader market provides the backdrop. Tokenized real-world assets total about $38.8 billion on-chain, with tokenized US Treasuries the largest category at around $15.7 billion. In that context, a chain with under $300 million in RWA value remains a small share of the total, though holder growth suggests increasing uptake.
Investors should note that holder counts and chain rankings can vary by data provider and methodology, and that growth in users does not necessarily translate into higher token prices.
