Everyone, $KOMA has risen too sharply tonight.

Over these six hourly candles, it climbed from 0.013731 to 0.015725,
with one candle surging 10.35%. It’s up 18.922% over 24 hours and is now at 0.015737.

The first thing I looked at was where it had reached.

Its 20-day range is 0.011525 to 0.019014. It has only recovered to the 56.2nd percentile, with another 20.8% of headroom above.

Open interest rose from 398.8 million contracts to 465.4 million, while notional value rose from 5.248 million to 7.315 million. Both are rising together.

When contract count and notional value move in the same direction, it suggests traders are entering with leverage—not merely trading among themselves.

The funding rate has been pushed up to 0.075307%.

At the same time, $BTC still has a negative funding rate, while $ETH is only at 0.006841%.

Longs here are paying 0.226% a day—more than ten times what they pay on those two.

It’s like a pot boiling too fiercely: once the heat is turned down, the edges cool first.

The long/short account ratio is 1.8539, with longs making up 64.96%. The trade is already quite crowded on paper.

But the taker buy/sell ratio is only 0.9539, with sellers slightly outnumbering buyers. There aren’t actually that many people pushing the price up.

Everyone’s piled in around the upper edge of the 0.0162 range. There’s no support above—only people taking profits.

Honestly, I’m paying less attention at this level.

I’ll take another look once the funding rate cools off and see which side liquidity favors.

What do you all think?
