Bitcoin mining difficulty has remained below its peak for 374 consecutive days.
PANews, citing Bitcoin.com, reported that the peak was 155.97T on October 29, 2025. This stretch has already lasted longer than the 364 days following the 2011 crash and the 253 days after China’s 2021 mining ban. Difficulty fell to 124.93T in mid-June 2026, about 20% below the peak, then rebounded to 148.36T in October.
· Mempool.space estimates that difficulty will drop by about 3.7% again around November 13, further delaying a new high.
· Economist Saifedean Ammous calls this the “new world” of Bitcoin mining.
For the November 13 difficulty adjustment, will you be watching the estimated drop or the actual figure?
