Back in September, the launch date was set for 11/5. Now the block-time target has been cut from 75 seconds to 25, and feeds are still chanting “three times faster.” The same upgrade also shut down the old Sprout spend path, temporarily making roughly 12,224 coins (worth around $15 million) in the pool unspendable—not burned, just frozen by the rules.
The current price is around 1,288, with an intraday high of about 1,388. The speed-up slogan is still making the rounds, but the price has already priced it in; until it stabilizes above 1,350 again, I wouldn’t treat this upgrade as a reason to chase the price.
