The unlock everyone feared was $765M. The real one was $14M — and HYPE fell anyway, a day early. I'm watching $80 to see if the fear is spent.

Scheduled vs delivered: trackers listed 9.92M HYPE for core contributors on Nov 6. The team committed just 180,000 — 1.8% of the headline, about $14M at $78. The tape sold the headline anyway: Nov 5 printed −8.5%, $83.80 to $76.64, on the biggest 4h volume bar of the last two days. Then unlock day itself held $76.54 and closed +2.5% on $55.6M of volume.

$80 is the level the flush broke. HYPE sits at $78.05, down 11% on the week and ~20% off its $98 high, with $76.25 below and $79.68 above. The unlock is over. The fear premium isn't: a daily close under $76.25 breaks the floor — and the next test is the tape, not the calendar.

The lines: support $76.25, the Nov 5 low. Resistance $79.68, then $82.44.

What sold it — the number, or the fear of it?

NFA, DYOR.
