MEXC-tracked wallets were down about 28.74 million USDT in a single day. Need the funds urgently? Can you plan based on the platform balance?
If a payment has a deadline, plan around when the recipient can confirm the funds will arrive. On November 6, FinCEN issued a regulatory order that takes effect 30 days after publication in the Federal Register. Once it takes effect, covered U.S. financial institutions may not send funds to or receive funds from MEXC Global. This also applies to convertible virtual currency.
Using the same tracking methodology as DefiLlama, the USDT balance fell by about 28.74 million between November 6 and 00:00 UTC on November 7, compared with about 5.8 million the previous day. Changes in these wallets cannot tell you whether your withdrawal will arrive. MEXC said the platform is operating normally.
Keeping funds on the platform lets you continue trading, but also exposes you to the risk of changes to withdrawal channels. If you already have a payment deadline, the next step is to check with the platform which withdrawal methods are available, then confirm with the recipient whether they can accept the payment and when it is expected to arrive. Only after both sides confirm will you know whether the funds can arrive in time.
