No signal is a signal: why I’m sitting out today

The most noteworthy thing this afternoon isn’t direction—it’s the growing divergence between bulls and bears on BTC and ETH. Divergence isn’t scary; what’s scary is a one-sided move that leaves the other side caught off guard.

First, let’s look at the two markets:
BTC: No directional bias today. I’ll act only when either side triggers.
ETH: No directional bias today. I’ll act only when either side triggers.

Neither BTC nor ETH has shown a clear direction today. When both markets are quiet, the biggest risk isn’t losing money—it’s itchy fingers. Forcing trades in a range puts you at a natural disadvantage in terms of risk-reward. Better to wait for either side to break out, then follow.

My plan:
BTC: No trade for now; waiting for a structural trigger.
ETH: No trade for now; waiting for a structural trigger.

My position: Staying flat and watching. It’s not that there are no opportunities; neither side has met the trigger conditions.

Which side will BTC hit first today? Comment A (breaks above the stop-loss wall first), B (breaks below the support pool first), or C (keeps ranging)
