Live trading, day 68. It wasn't until after 3 p.m. that I remembered to check my trading journal. Yesterday's ETH long was still hanging there, barely alive.

The system gave a wait-and-see signal this morning. The 4-hour chart was ranging, so I sat tight. And sure enough, it only reached a high of 2254 and a low of 2210—just a few dozen bucks back and forth. If I'd taken the trade, it would've made no difference. What did catch my eye was the trending news about employment data pushing up the odds of an interest rate hike. BTC rebounded to around 75K, led by chip stocks. For those of us glued to the charts, any macro news means recalculating the whole picture.

Put simply, the system's signal leaned bullish, but I didn't follow it. That's on me. AI isn't magic; it only caught the tail end of yesterday's rebound.

By the way, XAUT has been pretty volatile these past few days too. Retail traders have been tossed around in it—the action's livelier than the broader market.

At this point, would you wait for me to take some profit, or stay flat and wait for a pullback?
