Over the rolling 24 hours, $ETH +1.00%; $AAVE +1.29%; $UNI +0.80%. All three spot quotes are rising, but that does not mean borrowing demand, protocol revenue, or token-holder benefits are increasing in step. In DeFi, the question I want to get to the bottom of is: Who ultimately receives the money users pay, and who bears the risk?

According to a report by Jinse Finance (Beijing time, November 7, 2026), citing SoSoValue data, spot Ethereum ETFs saw net outflows of $93.1887 million on November 6, U.S. Eastern Time. These are fund flows through the ETF channel, not DeFi lending flows, and they cannot explain ETH’s price movements. When you see a funding figure, first clarify what it covers—don’t force different ledgers together.

Borrowers pay interest to use funds; traders pay swap fees to execute trades and access liquidity. Liquidity providers may receive a portion of the fees, but they also bear the costs of having capital tied up, price fluctuations, and slippage. A protocol receiving fees does not mean token holders automatically get dividends; whether they have any such rights depends on the specific rules and whether they are implemented. You can’t infer them from the token price.

You also need to distinguish between stocks and flows: the value of assets in a pool at a particular point in time is a stock, while interest or fees actually received over a period of time are flows. Token incentives are an expense to attract participants, not protocol revenue. Whether users remain willing to borrow, trade, or provide liquidity after rewards are reduced can offer clues about demand, but it is not enough on its own to say that demand has been validated.

For ordinary users, the key questions are what problem the service solves, who pays for it, and who bears the risk. Falling collateral values, liquidation, or insufficient liquidity don’t disappear just because interest has been paid. Fee revenue, incentive spending, and token-holder rights should be checked one by one. Mix them into a single ledger, and it’s easy to mistake protocol revenue for guaranteed benefits to token holders.#费用归属 #借贷风险 #DeFi
