🚨 iPhone users beware: TRON network theft targeting USDT exposed, with at least $4.06 million stolen!
Bitquery investigation (10/5–11/4):
📌 365 TRON victim addresses, 89 of which lost only TRX
📌 43 “collection wallets” linked through the same fee wallet
📌 First, fund TRX for fees, then drain all the USDT in one click—a typical automated theft pattern
📌 But only one transaction matched a publicly disclosed iPhone owner account. Most devices and vulnerabilities remain unconfirmed, and it hasn’t been confirmed whether the same operator was behind them
Separately, Security Alliance recorded 6 iOS wallet thefts from 10/28–11/3, totaling around $127,000 and involving Trust Wallet and Uniswap Wallet. On 11/6, Trust Wallet issued a notice: update to the latest iOS as soon as possible, and don’t store your recovery phrase in screenshots or Notes.
🛡️ How to protect yourself:
1️⃣ Update iOS to the latest version; enable Lockdown Mode if needed
2️⃣ Don’t screenshot your recovery phrase or store it in Notes or the cloud
3️⃣ Keep large amounts in a hardware wallet or on an exchange; keep only small amounts in hot wallets
4️⃣ Don’t click unfamiliar ads or links
