Honestly, I haven’t quite figured out this latest move from Meta. It’s up 2.03% today, trading at 613.31, after hitting a 24-hour high of 626.47.
To be clear, this is the price of the corresponding USDT perpetual contract on OKX, not the U.S. stock’s spot price. U.S. markets are closed over the weekend, but the contract is still trading. A 2.03% move is nothing special in crypto, but when it comes to a large-cap stock like Meta, a 2% gain in a day is enough to make anyone sitting on the sidelines hesitate: buy now, and you might be buying just below 626.47; stay out, and you might worry it’ll gap up past that level when the market opens Monday.
I’m leaning toward sitting tight for now. It’s climbed all the way up from 599.59, and the higher lows look fairly solid. But if it can’t hold above 626.47 and falls back below 599.59, I’ll change my mind immediately.
With Meta up at this level, are you more nervous holding it—or not holding it?
