Came across an Ethereum Foundation post: the Glamsterdam hard fork on the Hoodi testnet has been put on hold for now.

Testing by ChainSecurity found that after EIP-8037 / EIP-8038 change gas and state charging, they would break around eight common assumptions in existing contracts—for example, assumptions about the gas left after a failed call and whether a fixed gas budget is sufficient. The ACD decided not to fork Hoodi yet, and to sort out compatibility issues first; this won’t affect Hegota development, which is still progressing in parallel.

The Foundation also made the invariant repository public and called on developers and auditors to check their code. Issues can be reported to glamsterdam@ethereum.org. The upgrade is still being tested on Sepolia, and there’s no new timeline yet for Hoodi or mainnet.

Before a hard fork, scanning nearby contracts is more reliable than rushing ahead and risking a failure.
