Everyone, I’m about to open a large short position on $CARV .

Take profit: 0.032073
Stop loss: 0.036682 👇

You may be wondering the obvious question: why am I shorting here?

The price is too high.

The 20-day range is 0.02838 to 0.0382, and the entry price of 0.03501 is at the 67.4th percentile.
It’s already up 12.29% over the past 7 days.

When prices are this high and still rising, you don’t see any dissent—just one prevailing sentiment. And that sentiment can turn into a wave of profit-taking all at once, any day.

This rally is like a plate someone else has already picked over; what’s left at the bottom isn’t worth this price.

I’m sticking firmly to keeping both the take-profit and stop-loss within the average daily volatility. Average daily volatility is 8.39%:
The take-profit at 0.032073 is -8.39% from the current price, and the stop-loss at 0.036682 is +4.78% from the current price.

The risk-reward ratio on this trade is about 1.76.

At the same time, $BTC is only up slightly, while $GTC , on the same hype cycle, already dropped today. When liquidity dries up, the bottom of the pot is the first thing to show.

Honestly, I’m willing to take a shot at shorting at this level.

What do you all think?
