After the sell-off, there was no immediate rebound. $BTC is stuck around 75,800, and $ETH is around 2,240. The Fear & Greed Index fell from 28 yesterday to 25, entering “Extreme Fear.”

📊 Nonfarm payrolls surge
The U.S. Department of Labor: October nonfarm payrolls increased by about 165,000, far above expectations of around 59,000–65,000; the unemployment rate unexpectedly fell to 4.1%. Hourly wages rose 0.4% month over month and 3.1% year over year. Crypto prices barely budged, continuing to hover around 75,000. Everyone is more focused on whether the odds of a Fed rate hike in December will rise again.

💸 ETFs nearly stand still
Farside: U.S. spot BTC ETFs saw net outflows of about $8.9 million on 11.6, close to flat. The day before (11.5), net outflows were still around $430 million. Institutions have stopped dumping aggressively, but there haven't been inflows either.

📱 USDC comes to Samsung Wallet
Solana official announcement: Samsung Wallet's stablecoin account is now live. Eligible Galaxy users in the U.S. can directly buy, sell, send, and receive USDC on Solana, covering about 82 million devices. Not yet available to New York residents.

🏛 401(k) rules reach the White House
Multiple media outlets report: The Labor Department has submitted the final safe-harbor rule allowing alternative assets (including crypto) in retirement plans to the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) for review. It hasn't taken effect yet; the review generally takes several dozen days.

Bafang's take: Macroeconomic pressure is still mounting, while fund flows have merely shifted from heavy outflows to almost no movement. USDC in mobile wallets is good news, but it won't save current positions. I'll keep my exposure light and wait until ETF flows actually turn positive.

What do you think will happen first over the next week: BTC breaks below 74,000, or holds above 77,000?
