People who were waiting for a pullback yesterday got an even higher price today. AMD rose 5.43% in a day to 446.39, after hitting an intraday high of 460.64.

To be clear, this is the price of AMD’s USDT perpetual contract on OKX, not the spot price of the US stock. Sentiment in weekend contract trading is naturally a little stronger than usual.

The most frustrating thing about a rise like this is that if you chase it, 460.64 has just been rejected, so buying near the high feels risky; but if you wait, the low of 419.00 is already far behind us, and a pullback may never come. I’d lean toward sitting tight for now and taking weekend contract gains with a pinch of salt. But if it gets back above 460.64 and holds there, I’ll change my mind—that would suggest this isn’t just weekend sentiment, but real buyers stepping in.

Is there still a chance to get in, or can we only watch this kind of rally from the sidelines?
