$STABLE An estimated 889 million tokens are set to be unlocked early tomorrow morning, worth more than $22 million. Meanwhile, the token price has fallen by around 7% over the past 24 hours.

Here’s the situation: according to the unlock calendar, Stable will release a batch of ecosystem and community tokens at 3:19 a.m. Beijing time on November 8. Based on the current circulating supply, that’s close to 5%.

More interestingly, STABLE is currently trading at around $0.025, with roughly $6 million in 24-hour trading volume. The value of this planned unlock is already more than three times the daily trading volume.

Of course, an unlock doesn’t mean an immediate sell-off, but it’s worth keeping an eye on where these tokens ultimately end up.

Stable itself is building stablecoin payment infrastructure, with a focus on using USDT to pay gas fees. But that’s also where the issue lies: users don’t need to buy STABLE directly to use the network. The token mainly serves staking, network security, and governance functions.

To compete with established networks like Tron and Ethereum, low fees alone aren’t enough; the network needs real payment transaction volume.

And even if the business grows, that doesn’t mean STABLE will automatically see an equivalent increase in buying pressure.

I don’t think there’s any need to rush into buying the dip on STABLE just yet. First, watch exchange inflows, trading volume, and actual selling pressure after the unlock, then reassess once the tokens have been absorbed.
