Crypto Mini-Class: Multisig Wallets
With a 2-of-3 multisig, if one private key is exposed, the remaining two can still sign; if two are lost, the assets can no longer be accessed.
A multisig wallet requires at least m of its n private keys to sign together before assets can be transferred. This is usually written as m-of-n, such as 2-of-3.
The first page of my study notes says: Understand it before you act.
