The value of open positions made the first move: $AKE went from around 0.0038 near 8 a.m. to roughly 0.0058 in just two hours, a gain of about 45%.

What I'm watching isn't the price increase—it's the money. The notional value of contract positions rose from about 13.35 million U at 8 a.m. to 19.7 million U at 10 a.m., up nearly 50%. Trading volume was about 19.8 million U during the 8 a.m. hour, then jumped to around 38.7 million U during the 9 a.m. hour. Each hour from 6–7 a.m. saw only six or seven million. Price and volume are moving together; this isn't the kind of hollow pump you see in a fake breakout.

The position structure is even more interesting: the account long/short ratio fell from 1.4 earlier in the morning to around 1.06 now, while the top trader long/short ratio dropped to 0.79—which means top traders are more heavily positioned short. Price is pushing higher while top traders still lean bearish, so short-side pressure remains. I still see room for an upward squeeze.

My view is clear: I'm still short-term bullish. For risk management, I'm watching 0.00480; if it breaks below that, I'm out. Resistance is at the 24-hour high of 0.00635; if price holds above it, I'll look to extend higher.

Are you holding on as volume continues to expand, or waiting for a pullback to 0.0048–0.0050 before getting in? Share your reasoning.
