Early Saturday morning, let’s lay out the overnight scorecard.
Prices: Spot Bitcoin is around $75,900, down about 0.5% over 24 hours and still above $75,000; ETH is around $2,241, nearly flat, and BNB is around $695. The Fear & Greed Index has fallen to 25, in the Extreme Fear zone, down from 28 yesterday.
Funds: Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw outflows of about $430 million on Thursday; Ethereum ETFs also lost nearly $100 million over the same period. Outflows this week have nearly erased 2026’s net inflows, pushing them toward negative territory. On the leverage front, liquidations briefly topped $1 billion amid a shift in risk appetite, with longs taking the bigger hit.
A slightly positive regulatory development: the U.S. Treasury and Federal Reserve withdrew a proposal to lower the threshold for tracking cross-border crypto transfers from $3,000 to $250, effective November 9. That eases compliance pressure a notch and isn’t bad news for the privacy narrative.
Derivatives: perpetual funding is around +0.008%, while the account long/short ratio remains around 3.13; the ratio over there is around 3.9. Order books are thinner over the weekend, with crowded longs facing thin liquidity, so keep leverage-related risks front and center.
Relatively strong: ZEC is hovering around 1,340, with futures trading volume just over $2 billion, and it’s also on CoinGecko’s trending list. That contract with a high circulating-supply ratio, along with PEPE, has more short-term momentum than the majors. The Plaza trending list still features tags about withdrawals resuming, losses in U.S. stocks, and data center regulation.
Calendar: There are no U.S. macro data releases over the weekend. Watch for U.S. stock index futures to reopen on Sunday evening, and for support around 75,000/74,000. Overnight was an aftershock following a synchronized move in risk assets—I’d rather treat volatility in the early session as the backdrop, not as a signal.
