Futures market watch: two reminders and one reference
When I look at the futures market, I only watch positioning crowding—not group chat messages.
I only pay attention to three sets of numbers in futures. Everything else is noise.
1. BTC 75935, 24h 74888-76416, change -0.42%.
2. BTC open interest notional: $7.31 billion, 24h +1.35%
3. Account-wide long/short ratio: 3.13
My take: The funding rate is 0.0095%, close to zero, and the long/short ratio is 3.13. Leverage hasn't picked a side. If it hasn't picked a side, don't use high leverage to pick one for it.
Execution ranges (based on current price ± structure, not an old chart):
- Momentum zone: Consider chasing only after it gets above 76,543; without a close above, it's a false breakout
- Buy the pullback: 75,024-75,479; don't buy if support fails
- No-trade zone: If the 1h candle closes below 74,568, skip this trade
My position: I only buy pullbacks; I don't chase breakouts. If the structure holds, I can keep a core position. Any add-on must wait for the pullback zone.
Data: Binance spot 24h / Binance USDⓈ-M / Yahoo daily (5-day change) / altme_fng / mempool_fees / defillama_chains / coingecko_trending. Missing figures are not filled in.
Would you dare add to your position at this funding rate?

Useful tip: When the mark price and index price diverge, liquidations hit the thinner side first.
Food for thought: The 10-year yield is rising: valuation narratives take a back seat; for spot, stick to the pullback zone.
