Mexico's Energy Ministry approved six solar power projects with private partners, expected to add nearly 650 megawatts of capacity to the country's strained grid. According to Sina Finance, the projects are estimated to require more than $750 million in investment and are expected to generate 1,881 gigawatt-hours annually, with battery storage facilities; private partners submitted them in the second round of Mexico's Federal Electricity Commission renewable energy project auction.
