All 2026 Bitcoin ETF inflows have officially been wiped out — net flows are now negative $502 million.
Key figures:
• $25.6 billion in, $26.1 billion out over 2026 (SoSoValue, data through Nov 5 — BeInCrypto & Coin-Turk, Nov 6)
• Assets under management: $96.65 billion, down from $113.29 billion at the end of 2025
• For comparison: 2024 +$35.2 billion, 2025 +$21.4 billion — 2026 is at risk of becoming the first year of net outflows since spot ETFs launched in Jan 2024
• Ethereum ETFs are also down ~$310 million over 2026
What this means to me: Bitcoin’s largest institutional buying channel isn’t adding any net demand at all this year — and November is what tipped the balance, with $869.8 million flowing out in just Nov 2–5. This isn’t a death sentence: flows can reverse within days, as they did late last September. BTC is around $75,900 this morning, still holding the $75,000 area.
What I’m watching next: Friday, Nov 6 session flows and US CPI on Nov 10 — two figures that will determine whether this deficit is just a pause or becomes a year-end trend.
Do you think ETFs can turn positive before year-end, or will 2026 close in the red?
