Nonfarm payrolls beat expectations, chip stocks moved first—what are major coins waiting for?

The U.S. added 165,000 jobs in October, far above market expectations of 65,000. Unemployment fell to 4.1%, and wages rose 0.4% month over month. All three indicators beat expectations. With the labor market this hot, the Fed is in no rush to cut rates, so short-term money would normally be expected to move into safe havens.

But on the market, chip stocks led the rebound. Nvidia rose more than 5% at one point, and the semiconductor index gained over 4%. BTC and ETH didn't lead the rally; major coins were slow to react. BNB was at $695.18, but that didn't get things moving either.

What does this mean? Strong nonfarm payrolls don't mean Bitcoin has to rise immediately. For now, money has gone into chip and tech stocks—capital is shifting around. If Bitcoin and Ethereum can hold their ground, that's strong enough. Don't expect a big overnight rally.

Tonight, watch to see whether chip stocks can keep their momentum and whether BTC makes a second move. If it doesn't catch up, the rotation will continue. Let's watch the market and see.
