Morgan Stanley has filed an amended S-1 with the U.S. SEC, bringing its spot Bitcoin trust one step closer to listing. The filing shows that Coinbase Custody will serve as Bitcoin custodian and prime broker, while BNY Mellon will handle fund administration, transfer agency and cash custody. The trust will hold Bitcoin directly and track the CoinDesk Bitcoin Benchmark Rate (the 4 p.m. New York time settlement price); once approved, it will list on NYSE Arca. Notably, this comes as Bitcoin has fallen about 42% from its all-time high of around $126,000, yet institutional activity has not slowed. (Source: Blockonomi, Nov. 6) $BTC
