$CYBER significantly outperformed $BTC over the past day, while perpetual open interest climbed to roughly two and a half times its previous level. Yet the funding rate fell into negative territory, top traders’ positions remained slightly net short, and aggressive selling picked up again in the past few minutes.

Binance data as of 04:28 Beijing time: $CYBER spot was around 0.359 USDT, up 31.98% over 24 hours; $BTC was around 75,810.0, down 0.37% over the same period. The 24-hour performance gap relative to BTC was about 32.35 percentage points. The intraday high was 0.41 and the low was 0.268.

Derivatives: the funding rate was about -0.1354%. Perpetual open interest rose about 162.07% over the past 24 hours, and fell about 0.12% in the past hour. The global long/short account ratio was about 1.03, with long accounts at roughly 50.8% and short accounts at 49.2%. The top traders’ long/short account ratio was about 1.03 (long accounts around 50.7%). The top traders’ long/short positions ratio was about 0.81 (long positions around 44.8%, short positions around 55.2%). The aggressive buy/sell ratio was about 1.06 over the past hour and about 0.70 over the past five minutes.

Price and open interest surged together, but the funding rate remained negative, and top traders’ positions were not overwhelmingly long. New positions are piling up quickly, but rising market heat does not mean that bulls are already in control.
