In an interview with CNBC, Trump said he believes Musk will donate SpaceX stock to the federal children’s savings program “Trump Accounts.” His exact words: “Well, I think that he will do that.” (Translation: “Well, I think he will do that.”)
Important note: Neither Musk nor SpaceX has confirmed any pledge to donate. This is only Trump’s expectation, not a confirmed plan. Trump also said the two have a good relationship and that he wrote to congratulate Musk after SpaceX went public.
