BILLIONS FOR THE DICTATOR!

Forget about hoodie-wearing hackers from Hollywood movies. The elite North Korean groups Lazarus Group and TraderTraitor are part of a tightly run state operation. Young geniuses undergo years of the toughest selection process at special schools in Pyongyang to become digital special forces.
According to analytics platforms TRM Labs and Chainalysis, they have already stolen more than $11.8 BILLION in cryptocurrency. That amount is about 45% of North Korea’s entire GDP!

According to investigations, Pyongyang’s hackers no longer hack code head-on. They use AI avatars, deepfakes, and fake recruiter profiles on LinkedIn. Posing as coding assignments for Web3 project developers, they distribute malicious code, gaining access to private keys and signing infrastructure.
The stolen funds are instantly split into thousands of transactions through mixers, DEXs, and cross-chain bridges. Although analysts and stablecoin issuers manage to freeze billions of dollars, the hackers move assets faster than the industry can respond!
