According to CNBC, National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett said Friday he expects data center growth to continue at the pace projected before the blue-wave election. At least 46 of at least 50 data center measures on 2026 ballots received majority support for restricting development, according to Ballotpedia’s tally. Hassett said projects scheduled over the next couple of years would not be affected by the initiatives and that growth could continue in states open to development.
