🔷 Crypto Thoughts: Big Position, Big Nerves
There’s an interesting psychological aspect to trading.
As long as the amount is small, I can calmly watch a drawdown. Not panic. Not look for confirmation that I’m right in every price movement.
But as soon as I increase my position, it’s a completely different story.
A normal pullback feels like a catastrophe. I already want to take profit on even a small gain. And any move against my position makes me rethink the whole scenario.
The funny thing is, the chart hasn’t changed at all. The same candles, the same volatility, the same market.
Only my attitude toward what’s happening has changed.
I notice this reaction in myself. And gradually I’ve come to realize that position size affects not only the potential outcome of a trade, but also how rationally you’re able to view it.
Sometimes it feels like you’re analyzing the market. But in reality, you’re just trying to manage your own emotions.
