After a sharp bounce at the start of the week, the cryptocurrency market is once again testing buyers’ resolve. Bitcoin has given back some of its gains and returned to a zone where it will be decided whether the current correction remains a routine pause in the bull cycle or calls for a deeper reassessment of price levels.
The key technical reference point right now is the lower boundary of the ascending channel and the area around 75,200. As long as the price holds this zone, the structure retains a chance of recovery. A decisive move below it would open the way to the next support levels. The daily EMA21 remains notably higher, around 79,300, underscoring that buyers still have a significant distance to cover before fully regaining control.
Against the backdrop of Bitcoin’s relative weakness, attention is shifting to Ethereum. The ETH/BTC pair is trading in a wide range, and a break above 0.03 could signal an early move by ETH. This scenario is usually accompanied by growing interest in altcoins more broadly. Until that breakout occurs, Ethereum remains in wait-and-see mode, although the sharp correction in recent sessions looks more like a pause than a break in the trend.
Among individual altcoins, Arbitrum stands out. The coin broke below its recent low against Bitcoin, recovered quickly, and began to reshape its short-term trend. If this structure holds, the potential for the next move is estimated at 20–30%. This is one of the first relatively clear signals that the sector’s correction phase may be nearing its end.
The long-term backdrop remains cautiously constructive. Historically, a roughly 15% decline in Bitcoin from recent local highs during a bull cycle has more often been used to build positions gradually than to lock in a trend reversal. As long as major support levels hold, deep pullbacks continue to be viewed as viable zones for increasing exposure rather than reasons to panic.
Thus, the coming days will hinge on three factors: Bitcoin’s reaction at the lower boundary of the channel, the ETH/BTC pair’s behavior around 0.03, and whether altcoin-sector leaders such as ARB can hold their reversal structure. Until these levels become clearer, the market remains in a mode of selective accumulation, with heightened attention to the risk of false breakouts.
