A privacy feature enabled by default may leave out precisely your first purchase of $BTC .

Bull Bitcoin has just integrated Payjoin into on-chain purchases and sales from BULL Wallet. The idea is to make it harder for anyone looking at the blockchain to figure out who paid how much.

But if the wallet is empty, the first purchase will be a regular transaction: Payjoin needs to include a coin that has already been received and is still unspent. It may also revert to a regular transaction if the process fails or you close the app before it’s complete.

The balance may arrive just the same. What changes is how the transaction was constructed and the privacy you expected to have.

Do you usually check those details in your transaction history, or just make sure the balance arrived?
