The broader market took a beating yesterday, but one detail was pretty interesting: according to Decrypt’s morning briefing, $WLFI (+3%), $PEPE (+3%), and $ARB (+4%) were among the few major coins to rise against the trend. CoinDesk’s Memecoin Index also gained 4%.
$ARB is currently trading at around $0.169, with 24-hour trading volume of about $226 million, ranking third among the top gainers.
A few thoughts:
• Those still in the green during a sharp sell-off may either have already fallen as far as they can, or have news of their own
• But one day of relative strength doesn’t mean the trend has reversed
• Watch to see whether they can hold their ground after the broader market stabilizes
